Every Spring, Delbarton hosts the outrageously entertaining One Acts Festival. In this event, four student-written and student-directed one-act plays are produced and put up on the stage for all to see. This year, the two performances will be on Friday, April 7th, and Saturday, April 8th. Mark your calendars!

The four plays this year are as follows…

• The Riverside Rift by Jaden Buckner and Jack Sameth: Two old-school fishermen deal with the effects of fame when they get their own TV show
• Crimea River by Jack Chambers: Conflict ensues when a son returns to his dysfunctional family
• Borrowed Time by Jack Schroeder: Paradoxes and hilarity abound in a twisted tale of time travel
• Lasrevera by Danny Maguire: A stagehand falls into the world of the play he is working on, including our very own Matthew Harper as Brother Maynard

So far, the scripts have been written, auditions are over, the casts have been chosen and rehearsals are underway.  I’ve read all the plays, and can personally vouch that this year’s festival will be a certified hit. Make sure to come out and see the performances on Friday and Saturday, April 7th and 8th in the FAC.
