Fantasy Football Week 12 Preview: A Dolphin Worth Adding

Pierce Munsey, Staff Writer

Welcome to the Week 12 Edition of Delbarton’s Fantasy Football Corner! Like last week, we are going to look at a WR that you should be targeting in your league.

ADD: Devante Parker, Miami Dolphins (WR)

Yes, Devante Parker. Don’t be fooled by the fact that he plays for the most laughable team in the league. In fact, this bias against the Phins will work in your favor: the sole reason that Parker is owned in only 57% of ESPN leagues is that he plays for Miami. If Parker is available in your league, I urge you to pick him up, as he has recorded at least 11.8 PPR points in his last 7 games. Furthermore, Parker had 7 catches and 135 yards against Buffalo last Sunday, who has the 3rd best pass defense in the NFL (Team Rankings). Even with a tough matchup, Parker was still able to find success with Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing him the ball. Thus, he should be set for big point totals during weeks 14-16 when he plays the Jets, Giants, and Bengals respectively, all of which have bottom-10 pass defenses (NFL.com). Looking ahead into the playoffs, Devante Parker is a must-add. He has a very safe floor thanks to his high volume and is the only outside threat remaining after the Kenny Stills trade and Preston Williams injury. With easy matchups during fantasy playoffs, adding Parker to your roster will serve you well.
