The actors have been hard at work memorizing their lines and blocking.  Authors have been busy with their final edits and rewrites.  The backstage crew and technicians are sawing, hammering and adjusting the stage environment in anticipation for the One – Act Festival on April 7 and 8.

This year’s offerings of student written, directed and acted productions runs a wide gamut of topics and tones.  Come fly-fishing in Montana with Jaden Buckner and Jack Sameth in The Riverside Rift.  Push the limits of time travel with Jack Schroeder and his cast in Borrowed Time.  Deal with intrusive family members and a “helicopter parent” with Jack Chamber’s Crimea River.  You will also confront classical and experimental theatre in Danny Maguire’s offering, Lasrevera.

We have a bright and talented group of writers, directors and actors in this year’s crop of student one – act plays.  Come out for an enjoyable and fun-filled evening on April 7 and 8 at 7:30 pm.  Support your friends, have some laughs and you might just learn something along the way.  See Mr. Pillette, Dr. Carlson or Mr. Wyatt for details.  See you there!
