Freshmen Soccer Wrap Up

Christian Agathis, Staff Writer

The Freshman Soccer team had a strong season. Their final record was 8-6-2, and they made it to the second round of the Freshmen Tournament hosted by Delbarton. The Freshman Soccer team played great on campus with a home record of 5-2-2. Almost every player on the team had a point, but the leading goal scorer was Ivan Scotto who finished with ten goals. The assist leader was Hayden Beumee with six assists. Freshman Brendan McSorley was leading the team in goals, assists, and points, but was brought up to the varsity team and made a huge impact. Even with Brendan McSorley moving up to varsity and the plethora of injuries that they were riddled with, the Freshman Soccer team finished strong.
