Hogwarts, Dimension X – If it wasn’t already bad enough, it has just got worse.
Recent news has just confirmed that world-wide staple fast-food brand, Chipotle has changed their pricing schemes. Chipotle was already making headlines due to their outrageous prices led by their “high protein bowls” labeled as a $16 – $18 dollar purchase. Now, as if it couldn’t have gotten any worse, Chipotle employees are now empowered dictate menu prices based only on their whim.
This has all food fanatics in a frenzy considering that almost all Chipotle employees are depressed high school students unable to secure other gainful employment. One customer, by the name Gregory Hasenturf said “ Bro, I was trying to get me a bowl with rice, chicken, and cheese after our lax practice, and the goth dude behind the counter (who had more piercings than teeth) charged me $80 for my bowl – and my “attitude”.”
To me it’s just outrageous at this point. Most people coming to Chipotle are just hungry and use it as an excuse to say they eat healthy food, but now they have to pay for their food and leave it the hands of angst-filled, discontented teenagers.
Rumors are circulating that Chipotle’s next move is to charge customers to enter the restaurant, pay for fountain cups, and assess a charge based on the amount of time waited in line.
